The action column was sized by the widest visible button, so it grew from zero the moment versions loaded or an update was found, pushing the version column left. Reserve its width with invisible Install and Update buttons in the header, which the existing width measurement already picks up. The header shifted too while checking for updates: the button label switched to "Checking..." and changed width, and Update All vanished and came back as each tool reloaded. Stack both labels so the button keeps the wider width, and keep the pre-check Update All count while the check runs.
