Since route and aggregation mode keep the ChatGPT login (#8431), the route table writes requires_openai_auth = true whenever a login is on disk, so making a third-party card the aggregation default no longer keeps Codex from locking the send button to Luna Reserve once the official 5-hour quota runs out. The guide and the 4.6 manual pages now describe the method that still works: switch to Direct, keep "Keep official login for direct switches" off, switch to a third-party card and fully restart Codex; switch back to Aggregation once the quota resets. The old method is marked as no longer working. Refs #7962
